Hotel Oriente - Lipari (Isola Lipari)

We were kinda surprised when the hotel staff picked us up from the port, even though it was a short walk away. They were also helpful in arranging a last-minute boat excursion to Stromboli. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the center, marina, and museum. The breakfast area, whether indoors or in the garden, was good. The 24-hour reception and English-speaking staff made our stay even more convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for its great accommodation and friendly atmosphere.

The location in the town of Lipari was a real plus.....a block from the main street but close to everything. Instructions on the website are a little vague but ergot there. They also offered a pick up service from the ferry if you ring on arrival - alas we didn't know this until we got there. Nonethess good sized room and breakfast was a feast everyday.

We loved staying at this hotel! It was just a short walk from the port and close to the beautiful garden. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the rack in our room for drying clothes.

This hotel is most intresting hotel we ever seen. You can just sit and watch all the old items. All the staff are very friendly, they offer you free taxi to the port. Breakfast is amazing.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and it exceeded my expectations. The value for money was fantastic, with affordable prices for a comfortable room with a private terrace. The hotel's location in the city center was perfect, just a short walk away from all the main attractions in Lipari Island. The staff were friendly and provided great service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The highlight for me was the delicious breakfast buffet, with an extensive selection of food including fresh fruit and tasty pastries.

Great location, very convenient to transport both for Lipari and other islands and the centre of town. Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel had a lovely garden to sit in. Very clean and secure. Pick up and drop off was well appreciated.

The hotel is very well located. For who expect quietness, good comfort, kindness of the staff, I highly recommend the place. This is the second time I enjoy the hotel. Last time was 15 years ago (!) and I still enjoy my stay.

The hotel had a great antique decor in the lobby that gave it a particular charm. It felt like staying in a really old place but with modern amenities. The staff was also very friendly and helpful with all our needs. The breakfast had excellent choices, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh croissants with jam and butter. The hotel also had a convenient location near the city center, which allowed us to walk to most of the tourist attractions easily.

The room we had was quite small, and the balcony was shared with another room, so it was not very private. The twin beds pushed together to make a double bed were not the most comfortable to sleep on.

Clean, large rooms. Excellent location to both ports. We got back after midnight (1230+) one night after visiting Stromboli and someone was waiting up for us to let us even - eventhough we had forgotten to tell them we were going to be back so late. Good breakfast spread.

Wifi only available downstairs in the public area.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Lipari Island and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was excellent, especially considering the prices on the island. I found the rates to be very reasonable, and it was definitely worth every penny. Secondly, the attention to detail in this hotel was impressive. From the beautifully tiled floors in the rooms to the extensive array of knickknacks lining the walls in the communal areas, every corner of the hotel was filled with charm and character. Lastly, the location was perfect. Situated in the city center, it was easy to explore the island and take in all the beauty it has to offer.

All in all, I have to say that the hotel was absolutely fantastic and I couldn't fault it in any way.
